Is there such a thing as PageRank leak?

yes there is, Page Rank leaking is something to with how you are managing the link structure on your website, and if you have a resources area on your website how is it internally linked.

Improving the link structure of your website can decrease page rank leakage on your website.

page rank never leak when search engines update then these can be updated free seo tools only can predic not give the perfect results.

PageRank is determined for each individual Web page, as every page on your website has a different PR. The site home page is likely to have the highest PR as it will have the most sites linking to it. Each internal page will have a different Google PageRank. In many cases, the PageRank for a very informative and heavily linked article on an internal page will be higher than that of the site’s home page.

A site that I've been interested in recently lost some of its pageranking. It had a PR of 4 a month ago, and last time I checked it was down to 2. Is this the type of leak you are asking about? If so, I'm really curious as to why their ranking decreased so dramatically.

This sounds more like they have lost some good links, leaking is usually less of a big jump.

The curious part is that many people will deny the existence of PageRank leak and at the same time believe that they can increase their PageRank by having a well-linked site without realising that this is the other side of the coin.
