What do you understand by 3-way link?

This linking is callled three way linking.

The system uses a method of linking known as 3-way linking. Unlike the traditional one-way link, where only one site benefits, with a 3-way link all 3 sites get what Google sees as a one-way link to their web site.

In the old reciprocal link method, site A linked to site B and site B linked back to site A. Google does not value that kind of link very much at all anymore.

let me explain this three site ABC .

They way it works is that you give Website A link to Website B.

Website B gives a link to Website C.

Website C then gives a link to Website A.

In the end, C websites have links to each other, and yet none of them are reciprocal.

Search Engine will not penalize you for using this method, as long as all the sites are somewhat related.

It's not called 3 way linking, it's just a term the less experienced people use. The real terminilogy for it is Asymmetrical linking.

Simply say in this three way link building take the link from others web site and in return you provide a back links from one of your other website.

That's nice information.
But I don't think as per that the C website has to give a link to a web site.

For Example See this :-

You have two web site (Website A, Website C)
and your link partner have one web site(Website B)

And if he is ready for three-way linking then

You will give a link to his "website B" from your "Website A", and you get back link from his "Website B" for your "Website C".

I think this is the right process of three-way link building

3 way link is linking a site A from site B that will be visible to site C and will goes back to site A as a original site. Site B and C can be a blog or a article site and sometimes a social media site.
