Google discounting Back Link on Age
I have been studying Google search engine ranking patterns for quite some time and as everyone know that link building has such a profound effect on the way a search engine ranks a website.
A close finding in Google ranking pattern has been that Google has been discounting links based on the age of the link. Which is short would mean that:

Even if you have very good back links on your website its also important that you have recent links from quality resources to your website for the search engine to continue to think that you are still a valid and active resource on the topic.
The basic principles of link building still remain the same though:
- The links have to be from relevant resources.
- They should be from high PR website.
- The anchor text of the links should have your keywords.
So the idea is just when you are thinking the race is over, rethink; as its just begun.
