In the battle to produce better search results search engines strives to enhance technology and ways to feed the searcher with more accurate information. Google is soon introducing unavailable after meta tag, which will enable webmasters to tell search engines to when will the content expire and tells the search engine to drop the information after a certain date.

With the availability of this tag it becomes easier for search engines to manage index. But i guess it also depends of the responsibility of the webmasters to use this Meta Tag appropriately and make internet a better place.
