Yahoo 301 redirect problem
Yahoo seems to be having a problem with detecting 301 redirects, which implies that once a complete website or page is redirected to another location, yahoo does not change its index and continues to have the old page in the index. This can lead to duplication issues with the new page being banned from the yahoo serps.
The downside of this problem of yahoo is that the new page remain out of the serps while the redirection works on the server level, and the webmaster has to ensure that the redirection is on at all times.
Some recent tests have revealed that this problem continues to exist and may be yahoo is looking into the problem and i can only hope that it gets rectified. We will be keeping a close watch at the yahoo 301 redirection problem and will update this post as we see any movement.

Can it be so because of the slow index rate of Yahoo? Do they just need more time to change their index archive?
Would be interested to read the follow-ups of this..
Thanks,
